This survey involves a detailed inspection and an in depth report on the condition of the property. It is particularly suited to large, old, altered, adapted or unusual properties or those in a poor condition. It is not usually recommended for flats and maisonettes unless access to all the dwellings in the building is possible.

The report is more comprehensive than a Homebuyers Survey and Valuation but it is still prepared in a logical and easy to read format.

The report will:

  • Note any apparent structural defects.
  • Mention factors that may materially affect the function, performance or saleability of the property.
  • Consider more minor repairs and future maintenance issues.
  • Provide flexibility to address specific queries.

A Building Survey does not normally include a valuation but our Surveyor can provide a Market or Mortgage Valuation at the same time at a considerable cost saving.
